RESTful API to access the CHAIN-REDS Semantic Search Engine

A programmable use of the CHAIN-REDS Semantic Search Engine is now possible thanks to a simple RESTful API which has been developed on purpose by INFN. The API allows to get and reuse the millions of open access resources contained  in the CHAIN-REDS Knowledge Base and stored in a Virtuoso RDF-compliant database.

From now on, everybody interested in getting and/or re-using the many millions of open access resources contained in the CHAIN-REDS Knowledge Base and stored in a Virtuoso RDF-compliant database can use the API to call the Semantic Search Engine from their own websites or mobile applications.

Instructions and examples about how to use the Semantic Search Engine API are available at the page:
http://www.chain-project.eu/semantic-search-api

This development will help federating and "mashing up" linked data belonging to different data providers and even to different disciplines.
