Open e-IRG Workshop in Athens on 9-10 June 2014
The next e-IRG Workshop under the Greek EU Presidency of the European Union will take place in Athens, Greece from Monday 9th until Tuesday 10th of June.

The workshop will address important topics related to the e-Infrastructure Commons, data management, user aspects, and future e-Infrastructures.
The keynote in the opening session will be on the e-Infrastructure policy of the European Commission. The four plenary tracks are:
- “ Coordination and Collaboration” addressing the implementation of the European e-Infrastructure Commons and the collaboration between ESFRI and e-IRG.
- “Data aspects” focusing on international cooperation, data management and challenges.
- “User aspects” addressing a broad range of topics including legal issues, core services, impact of e-Infrastructures, skills and training.
- “e-IRG Roadmap 2014”, a highly interactive track about the future directions of European e-Infrastructures.
Each track will conclude with an expert panel discussion providing ample opportunity for interaction with the audience.
